It was also done to thank Cambodiaβs law-abiding foreign residents for the helpful work they do here, which over the years has been vital to the Kingdomβs development, and for the jobs investors have provided to Cambodians through their business activities. In a September 1 notice, Angkor Enterprise β which oversees ticket sales at the park β said that in order to promote domestic tourism and welcome more visits by resident foreign nationals, the government will allow all foreigners who have been staying in the Kingdom for more than two years to apply for a one-year validity / one-time entry free visitorβs pass to Angkor Archaeological Park and Koh Ker Temple, from September 1, 2022 onwards. In addition to foreigners generally who have legally resided in Cambodia for two years or longer, there are other categories of foreigners who will be eligible to apply for the visitorβs passes with no length of residency requirement diplomats, investors here on an investor visa, officials working at certain international organizations or agencies and technical experts working in ministries or for public institutions as well as the immediate families of all of the above.
